Buying a Colorado home? Search all homes for sale

The real estate market in Colorado Springs continues to be hot. Recently, we visited Channel 13 ABC News to give some advice for both buyers and sellers in the area on how they can win in this market. We’ve got 13 years of experience, and a lot of helpful information to share whether you’re buying or selling.

For buyers, this can be a very frustrating market depending on your price point. We are seeing homes in the $200,000 price range go under contract in under 24 hours. Our advice to buyers is to contact a local real estate professional and work with them. Our team, for example, has a system that allows buyers the quickest possible access to homes that get listed, as well as processes and systems to help them win bidding wars.

You can’t sleep on a home in this market, you’ve got to be able to move quickly and be ready to make an offer as soon as you see the right home. Sometimes, buyers look at listings on Zillow and Trulia, only to find out those homes are already sold. Starting with a professional will ensure you know exactly  which homes are for sale as soon as they come on the market.

Even though this is a hot market and homes are selling quickly, you’ve still got to be properly prepared and priced as a seller. If you overprice your home, it won’t get many showings. You need the right Realtor with the right marketing plan to help your home sell quickly and for top dollar.
